Our giant bows are constructed from durable polypropylene, making them particularly well suited to outdoor Christmas displays. The adhesive used during construction is showerproof, helping the finished bow cope with normal seasonal outdoor conditions.
However, an outdoor decoration of this size will inevitably be affected by its location and the weather it encounters.
A sheltered property in Essex can experience very different conditions from an exposed building in the Scottish Highlands. Strong winds and severe weather can place considerable force on a large bow, particularly depending on where and how it has been installed.
For this reason, we cannot guarantee a bow against all weather conditions. We recommend considering the exposure of your property and using a secure fixing method suitable for your particular building.

How Do I Attach a Giant Christmas Bow to My House?
Our giant outdoor bows are supplied without fittings because houses, shops, hotels and commercial buildings vary considerably and there is no single fixing method suitable for every property.
Customers have found several ways to install their bows. Some have attached a wooden batten to the building and secured the bow into position, while others have made use of suitable existing hooks or fixing points.
One customer decorating a London mews house simply secured their giant bow to an existing window bar using wire ties.
For some installations, we can also add a wooden support to the reverse of the bow, allowing it to hook onto a suitable fixing point on the property. Please contact us before ordering if you would like to discuss this option.
Because an 80cm × 130cm bow presents a substantial surface area to the wind, your chosen fixing method should take into account the position of the bow, the construction of the property and its exposure to strong weather.
Fixings are not supplied. Customers are responsible for choosing a suitable and secure installation method for their property. Where appropriate, we recommend using a competent installer.
