Sometimes you don’t need the biggest bow on the door. You just need the right one.

Our 30cm Red Satin Door Bow has been one of our most popular designs for years because it’s such a good all-rounder. The classic four-loop shape looks beautifully proportioned on most front doors, while the rich red satin creates an instant focal point without overwhelming the entrance.

Each bow is handmade from soft, high-quality 100mm single-faced satin ribbon. Two carefully formed loops sit on either side of a ribbon-covered centre, with soft satin tails falling naturally beneath once the bow is in position.

There are no exposed sharp cable ties forming the centre and nothing for you to construct when it arrives. We’ve already made the bow — you get the enjoyable bit of creating the finished display.

Matching Wide Satin Ribbon

100mm wide red satin ribbon for creating the wrapped-door effect.

Bow Ties

Ties are positioned discreetly on the reverse of the bow so it can be secured to the wrapping ribbon once your door is dressed.

Fitting Instructions

Easy-to-follow instructions are included in the box, with an online fitting video available if you’d prefer to watch the process.

Your bow arrives individually protected in a clear biodegradable bag. The outer box can also be kept and reused for storage.

Red might be synonymous with Christmas, but this particular Door Bow works considerably harder than that.

Throughout the year, our 30cm bows are ordered for new home handovers, property developments, business entrances, hotels, car showrooms, shop displays, salons, events and celebrations.

Then Christmas arrives and red really comes into its own.

Use it to create the classic wrapped front door, add one to a large Christmas wreath or use the bow on its own as a beautiful finishing touch to a Christmas tree. We’ve seen customers use our bows everywhere from their own front doors to high-street and department-store displays.

Why Single-Faced Satin?

We deliberately use a good-quality single-faced satin for this bow.

It has the soft sheen you’d expect from satin while giving the bow enough body to create and maintain its classic four-loop shape.

The result is a bow that looks soft and elegant rather than rigid, with tails that fall naturally once it’s fitted.

Will It Fit My Door?

At approximately 30cm wide, this is our most versatile bow size and looks well proportioned on most standard front doors.

If you want something with more impact, we can also make a larger 40cm version.

Although designed as a beautiful finishing touch for doors, our classic red satin bow is far more versatile than you might think.

At Christmas, it makes a striking addition to a Christmas tree, either as a statement decoration amongst the branches or as part of a larger festive display. The bow can also be used to add a luxurious finishing touch to wreaths, garlands and seasonal decorations.

Can I Use the Bow Without Wrapping My Door?

Yes. If you’d like to use the bow on a Christmas tree, wreath, display or somewhere you don’t need the full decorating kit, please contact us about ordering the bow without the wrapping ribbon.

Can I Reuse It?

Some customers do reuse their Door Bows, although this will depend on how and where the bow has been displayed and the weather conditions it has experienced.

Indoor bows, including those used on Christmas trees and internal displays, are particularly easy to store for another occasion.

If you intend to keep yours, make sure the bow is completely clean and dry before storing it and avoid placing anything heavy on top of the loops. The delivery box can be retained for storage.
